Kemback House is beautiful in every season, from dreich days spent by the fire as mist hangs over the forest, to hot summer days spent picking strawberries in the garden, walking in the bluebell carpeted woods in spring, or watching the maple trees drop their red and yellow leaves.

The estate has a rich history that can be traced back to the Bishops of St Andrews. St Andrews was a well-travelled pilgrim site for its holy relics, and the ancient pilgrim trail runs through the very top of our wood (if you climb to the peak you can see St Andrews in the distance). Kemback itself was owned at one time by the Archbishop of St Andrews, and some of its inhabitants were critical figures in the history of Scotland, including the great granddaughter of King Robert the Bruce I and her husband, the leading conspirator in the murder of King James I of England and Scotland.

You can host parties with us for up to 60 guests in the house, which we have a lot of experience in designing and managing, including concerts and birthday parties.

The main house contains 6 suites, and can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests.

The Lodge can host a further 5 guests. The Bridge Cottage can take 4 guests/staff.

Kemback Estate, including the House and cottages, is available for exclusive use only.
